Photojournalism

What is photojournalism?
Photojournalism is news photography.  Your job today is to look up information about what a photojournalist is and what you would have to do to become one.  Use the following resources to help you, but also feel free to use your own resources.  When you are finished researching, answer the following questions in your blog.

Link 1
Link 2
Link 3

What kind of education do you need to become a photojournalist?
What's one school that has a photojournalism program?
What kind of pay might you expect to earn as a photojournalist?
What would you need to do to prepare for a job interview as a photojournalist?
Would you consider this as a possible profession/job in your future?  Why or why not?

When you are finished with the above task, review this website's images, noting your favorites.  Pick 3 favorites and tell me what makes them such great images and/or why you chose them in a new blog post.

And we're back!

Today you will work on writing up your movie review in your blog.  Please pay close attention to your spelling, capitalization and punctuation.  Remember these should be quality reviews based on what you've learned about movie reviewers and bloggers.  Refer to your Epinions 101:Writing an Effective Movie Review handout.

When you are finished with this task, go to this Merriam-Webster website and investigate the word games and activities.  You may NOT go to any other game sites.  If you finish there, you may go to your blog roll and check in with the blogs you are following.
