I'm a Photojournalist!

Your assignment...

  • You will choose 5 items from the following list of subjects to photograph:
    • an inanimate object
    • an animal
    • a child
    • a landscape
    • a crowd/audience
    • a small group of people
    • a sunset
    • a sporting event
  • You will need to show examples of the following concepts in your portfolio presentation:
    • unique perspective
    • a sense of action or emotion
    • timing - critical moment
  • All photos should aim to demonstrate:
    • good composition - clear focal point & clean background
    • appropriate lighting
    • picture clarity/focus
    • Rule of Thirds practice
  •  Once you have taken the best photos you can, you will create a Google presentation that includes:
    • Your 5 best photos chosen from your list of subject options
    • a caption or description of the photo
    • a label of which concept (perspective, action/emotion or timing) the photo represents
    • a brief explanation of what kind of story this photo might be used for
